Repairs

I still have the first bamboo fly rod I ever purchased. It went through the hands of numerous owners, needed a few repairs and a restoration along the way, but functions today most likely as well as it did when it came out of the H.L. Leonard rod shop sometime in the 1920s.

Repair work can range from replacing a few guides and resetting loose ferrules to completely stripping a blank, rewrapping guides, and applying new coats of varnish. If needed, I can even make new sections to replace broken or missing ones. Get in touch and let's see what it will take to get a favorite rod or family heirloom back on the water.
